Eternal Springs
I’ve dammed them to make garden ponds that can be used also for watering the orchard. I’ve purposely planted a tree forest of Sauces and Aliso trees, as they are known to draw up more water from the ground. Over the years, I’ve collected quartz rocks found everywhere around the Finca and have put these all around the springs, along with heart shaped rocks and other local memorabilia, to create a rustic natural garden. By providing this peaceful water supply, a lot of local wild animals, birds and reptiles have come, some of these animals have not been seen in this area much over the past decades.
